Marla's Infant Feeding Bib




3/4oz baby yarn (not fingering weight)
H hook

Note: Chain 1 at the end of the row does not count as the first stitch.

Chain 22

Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain across. Chain 1, turn.

Row 2-5: Work 2 Sc in the first Sc from the hook (do not skip first Sc), Sc in each Sc across to the last stitch. Work 2 Sc in the last Stitch. Chain 1, turn.

Row 6-22: Sc in each stitch across. Chain 1, turn. At the end of row 22, turn but do not chain 1. First side/tie

Row 1: Sc decrease (pull up a loop in the first 2 sc, then pull through all three loops on the hook) in first 2 stitches, Sc in the next 6 stitches, Sc decrease in next 2 stitches. Turn but do not chain 1.
B Row 2: Sc decrease in first 2 stitches, sc in the next 4 stitches, Sc decrease in the next 2 stitches. Turn but do not chain 1.

Row 3: Sc decrease in first 2 stitches, sc in the next 2 stitches, Sc decrease in the next 2 stitches. Turn but do not chain 1.

Row 4: Sc decrease in first 2 stitches Sc decrease in the next 2 stitches. Turn but do not chain 1.

Work Sc decrease over 2 remaining stitches to form one stitch. Do not finish off.

Chain 35 for the tie. Finish off.

Join yarn at opposite end with first side on your left. Repeat above for second side and tie.
